- Volunteers are critical to East Bayou's student ministry. Ebsm is privileged to have a group of amazing and talented volunteers who give their time and effort every week.
- As ebsm's volunteers give, they also receive. 1 Corinthians 12 teaches that we are called to serve and be a part of the body of Christ, the church. There is nothing like living that out. All of ebsm's volunteers experience the fun, fulfillment and excitement of being used by God to serve and impact people for Christ. It’s an incredible feeling.

- Rooted is our brand new small group discipleship program that kicks off September 8. We meet every Wednesday throughout the school year from 6:00-7:30 pm here at East Bayou.
- The purpose of Rooted is to provide students with an environment where they can experience community, accountability and discipleship. It is for those students who are serious about growing in their faith. It requires a high level of commitment, but will also produce a high level of growth. Students are not required to be a Christian to join a Rooted group.

- Interested? Download sign-up form, fill it out and mail it to the church at 2234 Kaliste Saloom Road, Lafayette, LA 70508 or drop it in a drop box the next time you are on campus.

LHGH Re-launches its full program Monday, August 23
-
-
LHGH is a ministry designed to help students expose and deal with hurts, habits and hang-ups in their life. No one is perfect, not even Christians. Each of us struggle with things in our lives that we have either done or that were done to us. Whether its living in a single-parent home, using alcohol, tobacco, drugs, viewing pornography, battling anger, co-dependency, lying, depression, cutting, eating disorders… we all have painful issues. LHGH is a semester-long program that provides students with life-long tools for overcoming hurts and pains.

Our culture is attempting to redefine how men and women should think and behave. In this series students will hear the truth about the differences between men and women through what God says in Scripture. First, we will define what a man of God looks likes, then a woman of God. Last, we’ll take a close look at the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to dating.
